摘　　要：海南黎族自治传统是指历史上海南黎族各层社会组织具有自我民主管理的传统。这一传统体现在三个层面:合亩制民主、黎村民主、黎峒民主。黎族合亩地区社会具有原始社会形态的性质,因此黎族各层社会组织实行自我民主管理。有鉴于黎族本身的自治传统,黎族民众应回溯本民族的自治做法、思想和观念,使之与现代社会和时代精神接轨,或脱胎换骨,以唤醒自己的民主意识,从而促进黎族村民自治的事业,使黎族成为新时代的"民主黎族"。而黎族民众的努力将促进海南农村基层民主建设,促使海南农村成为"民主的田地"。The Li people＇s tradition of autonomy in Hainan means that various social organizations of the Li people in Hainan had a tradition of self-democratic management in history. This tradition is reflected in three levels： democracy under the Hemu institution,democracy in the Li villages,democracy in the Li town. The society of the Li ethnic group had the nature of primitive social form,so the public organizations of the Li ethnic group were self-managed. In light of the autonomous tradition of the Li people,the Li people should go back to the self-governing practices and ideas,and make them connect with modern society and the spirit of the time,so as to wake up their own sense of democracy and promote the self-government of the Li people,thus the Li people should become the democratic people of the new era.
