摘 要:相比于其他类型激光器,大功率光纤激光器具有结构紧凑、转换效率高、光束质量好、热管理方便等优点,在工业、国防等领域有着广泛的应用前景.其中高增益光纤材料与元件、高质量激光泵源、高性能激光种子源成为了制约万瓦级光纤激光器发展的主要因素.本文介绍了大功率光纤激光材料与器件的发展现状,分析讨论了高增益双包层光纤与元件(光纤光栅、包层光剥离器、合束器等)、激光泵源、单频光纤激光种子源等关键技术,对国产万瓦级乃至数万瓦级光纤激光技术的发展进行了展望.Compared with other types of lasers,high-power fiber laser has a compact structure,high conversion efficiency,convenient thermal management,and good beam quality,which has a broad application prospect in industry,national defense and other fields. However,the high-gain fiber materials,the optical components,the high-quality laser pumps,and the high-performance laser seed became the key factors restricting the development of 10-kW-level fiber laser. The development status of the high-power fiber laser materials and the optical components are introduced in this paper. The key technologies of the Yb^(3+)-doped double clad fiber,the optical components(e.g.,fiber Bragg grating,cladding power stripper,and combiner),laser pumps,and single-frequency laser seed are analyzed and discussed. Moreover,the new development trends of the fiber laser technology about domestic 10-kW-level even more higher output power is prospected.
