摘　　要：地理信息系统(GIS)是现代烟草农业发展的技术保障。简介了GIS的基本原理及产生发展过程,综述了国内外学者利用GIS在土壤养分精准管理、植烟区气候与烟草种植区划及烤烟生产病虫害防治决策方向的研究进展,并探讨了GIS在现代烟草农业应用中的发展前景。Geographic Information System（ GIS）is the foundation of space technology with modern tobacco agriculture. The basic principle and development of GIS were brielly introduced. The research progress of GIS in soil nutrient precision management, climate and planting area of tobacco growing areas and decision making of tobacco production pest control were summarized, the prospects of the researching and application were discussed in developing the modernization tobacco agriculture with the GIS.
