摘　　要：工程索引(EI)在我国科研评价体系中具有重要地位,了解该数据库状况及其选刊标准,有助于办刊人准确定位期刊的发展目标。通过文献调研、Engineering Village数据库检索等方式收集资料展开研究。研究结果表明:工程索引(EI)收录的论文以英文、汉语等为主,收录的期刊以欧美为主;选刊标准兼顾学术质量和学科特点。Engineering Index( EI) plays an important role in the evaluation system of scientific research in China. Understanding the database status and the standard of journal selection can help the journalists to accurately determine the development goals of the journal. The data for the research are collected through literature research,Engineering Village database retrieval and other ways. The research results show that the papers indexed by Engineering Index( EI) are mainly in English and Chinese,and the journals included are mainly European and American periodicals. The selection standard combines academic quality and academic characteristics.
