摘　　要：本研究访谈了我国18名外语研究者和外语学术期刊主编,旨在了解他们对人文社科领域内中文地位的认知及原因。受访者普遍认为国际学术英语化的趋势已成事实,有一半的受访者明确指出,这一趋势对中文的学术地位形成潜在威胁。对中文学术影响力低的原因,受访者给出的解释各异;对中文在我国人文社科领域的使用趋势,他们给出了方向相反的预测。受访者的观点在很大程度上表明:我国人文社科学者对保护中文学术地位的意识还有待提高。本文就研究结果提出了若干政策性建议,并呼吁学界对学术领域中母语保护问题展开讨论。This study has interviewed eighteen Chinese scholars and academic journal editors-in-chief to investigate their perceptions of the use of the Chinese language in the humanities and social sciences.The findings show that most of them are aware of the trend of academic Anglicisation.Half of them firmly believe that this trend has posed a potential threat to the status of the Chinese language in the international academic community.The interviewees have conflicting predictions on the declining influence of Chinese from different perspectives.Their views largely reveal that the protection of the Chinese language in the academic community has not been considered as a significant issue by nearly all Chinese researchers of the humanities and social sciences.This paper makes a few policy suggestions and calls for more in-depth discussions on issues regarding the protection of the mother tongue in the trend of academic internationalisation.
