摘　　要：运用文献资料法、访谈法和逻辑分析法,全面分析体育在建设社会主义和谐社会中的作用。体育运动对促进人们身心健康、促进社会公平正义、释放社会活力和社会和谐发展具有不可替代的功能。树立正确的体育观念、完善现有的体制机制、加快农村体育和学校体育进程是我们在建设社会主义和谐社会进程中发展体育事业中应该着重注意的问题。By using the methods of literature, interview and logical analysis, this paper comprehensively studied the function of sports in building a harmonious socialist new society. The results showed that sports really Played an irreplaceable role in so many aspects, such as improving people＇s physical and mental health,promoting social equity and justice, releasing the vitality of the society and promoting the development of a harmonious society. These problems that should pay attention to in the development of sports undertakings in the process of building a harmonious socialist society is to establish the correct sports concepts, perfect the existing institutional mechanisms and speed up the process of rural sports and school sports.
