高校教学质量、学业参与和毕业生起薪的实证分析——以北京地区为例

摘　　要：高校教学质量与高校毕业生就业这两个本质上有着紧密联系的研究领域长期处于相对隔离状态,有关就业问题的讨论常常陷入个体努力、高校层次与家庭社会经济背景的影响孰强孰弱的争执中,忽视了高校推动内涵发展与提高教学质量对改善毕业生就业状况的增量作用。本文以北京地区为例,尝试探讨高校提供的教学质量、学生的学业参与对毕业生起薪的影响。研究发现高校教学质量中的某些关键因素,如课程的系统性对起薪有着显著影响,学生的学业参与度对起薪并没有独立而直接的影响;只有在院系教学质量有保障的前提下,学生的学业参与才能起到倍增器的作用;在学生的各种学业参与方式中,在课堂上积极认真的过程性参与对毕业生的起薪影响最大。从研究结论看,高校在提高毕业生就业质量方面具有更重要的责任和影响。For quite a long period , the two aspects , namely the quality of teaching and the employment of graduates , are seperated though they should be closely connected with each other. The discussion involving em-ployment after graduation often fell into the the dispute around the influence of individual efforts , ranks of univer-sity and family socioeconomic background , thus neglected the effects of the university development and qualityenhancement in teaching on graduates ’ employment. This paper takes Beijng as an illustration to reveal theeffect of teaching quality and academic engagement on the graduate starting salary. As a result , the research found out that some key factors in teaching such as the sytematicness of curriculum may be of great influence on starting salaries while the students ’ academic engagement exerting little direct influencethink that the students ’ academic engagement may be multiplied under the condition that the quality of teachingis guaranteed. At the same time , among all the forms of academic engagein class activities is the most influential factor on graduates starting salary- From draws the conclusion that the enhancement in the quality of teaching in universities is of great importance ingraduates ’ employment .
