摘　　要：以塑料光纤作为传输媒介的信息传输系统,具有传输数据可靠性高、稳定性好、实时性强、容量大、成本低、易施工等特点,在短距离通信领域具有较强的应用价值。本文介绍了塑料光纤的特点,并着重讲述了塑料光纤的结构组成、制造方法以及塑料光纤在通信技术中的应用。Based on plastic optical fiber as transmission medium of information transmission system,data transmission with high reliability,good stability,strong real-time performance,large capacity,low cost,easy construction and other characteristics,it has strong application value in the field of short distance communication. In this paper,the characteristics of plastic optical fiber are introduced,and the structure,manufacturing method and application of plastic optical fiber in communication technology are emphasized.
