摘  要:自"五四"时代,礼拜六派等受到新文化界的批评之后,学界普遍认为,前期《小说月报》主要属于传统的俗文学范畴,对于中国文学的现代转型并没有作出多少贡献。但是,中国文学的现代转型并非是自"五四"一蹴而就的,从前期《小说月报》中已经可以明显地看到中国小说从全知叙事为主向限制性叙事过渡的轨迹,后期《小说月报》则对来自西方现代小说的限制性叙述作了更进一步的发扬光大。在这一前一后之间,可以看出中国小说叙事模式现代转型的完整链条。Since the “May 4lh” era, the Saturday School was criticized by the new cultural circle. It was generally believed that the early stage of the Novel Monthly mainly belonged to the category of the traditional literature,which did not make much contribution to the modern tChinese literature. However, the modern transformation of the Chinese literature was not achieved o-vernight since the “May 4lh”. A clear transitional trajectory from the omniscient narration to restricted narration of the Chinese literature could be seen from the early stage of the Novel Monthly , and the Novel Monthly further carried forward the restricted narration from the western modern novel in the later stage, from which,we can see a whole chain of modern transformation of the narrative mode ofChinese novel.
