摘　　要：李鸿祥是朱德在云南陆军讲武堂时的军事教官和同事,辛亥革命云南重九起义领导人之一,滇军著名将领,一生经历清王朝和民国的没落、混乱以及新中国的建立,为中国的解放、发展做出了巨大贡献。他用心去感悟和体验时代,为时代而歌,文通武达,平生所见闻所游历皆一一寄之于诗,其诗集《杯湖吟草》,分观为诗,合观为记,既反映时事,又为现实而作,裨补时阙,缘事而发,是为敢于面对现实、讽喻时事的优秀作品。One of the nine leaders of the Yunnan 1911 Up-rise,and a very famous general of the Yunnan Army,Li Hongxiang was an instructor with Yunnan Military Academy and thus a colleague of Zhu De when the latter was in Yunnan.His life spanned from the Qing dynasty,the Public of China,and the establishment of the People's Republic of China.He made great contributions to the liberation and development of China.He was a learned warrior that used his heart to experience and feel his times and wrote his reflections in poetry.Singing Grass by a Small Lake,a collection of his verse,was poetry when read individually.Taking as a whole,the poems were faithful records of and serious contemplations upon the times as an effort to mend the errors.Some of them are eminent work of sarcastic poetry with tremendous courage to face realities in the face.
