摘　　要：特鲁瓦会议确认了圣殿骑士团在基督教世界的合法地位,为它的制度建设奠定了基础;《新骑士颂》对圣殿骑士团的精神地位和理论贡献进行了阐释,使人们对它的质疑和批评消弭于无形,为它的发展壮大奠定了理论基础。这两次发展机遇与圣伯尔纳直接相关,因此,圣伯尔纳是圣殿骑士团的实际缔造者。The Council of Troyes confirmed the legal status of the Knights Templar in the Christendom and laid a foundation of its organization. The treatise In Praise of the New Knighthood elucidated its spiritual status and its contribution to the theory of Holy War, thus clearing up the initial doubts about its vocation and dispelling the attacks it confronted. Both the council and the treatise, which contributed much to the growth of the Templars, were masterpieces of St Bernard. Therefore, St Bernard was the founder in fact of the Templars though he took no part in its original establishment.
