清华“教授治校”体制的历史轨迹与现代启示

摘  要:从曹云祥、罗家伦、梅贻琦等三个校长时代的治校特征可以看出"教授治校"体制的成因来自多方面。在宏观层面,特殊的时代背景、政治体制与社会文化为"教授治校"提供了生长土壤;在微观层面,"少壮派"教授的不懈努力、校长的大力支持、学生的积极响应等主动选择行为是"教授治校"体制形成的强动力。优秀的师资队伍、明确的规章制度、以"教授"作为利益相关者博弈的平衡点以及民主协商等管理理念对实现大学治理有着积极指导意义。We can see from the characteristics of the management of the three presidents, such as Cao Yunxiang, Luo Jialun and Mei Yiqi, that the reasons for the system of "governance by professors" come from many aspects. On the macro level, the special back- ground of the times, political system and social culture provide the growth soil for the faculty management. The micro level, "Young Turks" professors make unremitting efforts and the strong support of the headmaster, the positive response of the students and active choice behavior is "professorial governance" system to form a strong power. Excellent teachers, clear rules and regulations and the "professor" as equilibrium point of stakeholder game , and democratic consultation and management concepts have positive guiding sig- nificance for the implementation of university governance.
