大众文化视阈下的文化现代性反思——以厄普代克“兔子”系列为中心

摘　　要：20世纪后半叶,文化现代性在美国先后经历了先锋派民权运动、消费主义媚俗文化和新保守主义文化思潮三个阶段。美国当代知名作家厄普代克的代表作"兔子"系列小说是对这一时期美国中产阶级文化的集中呈现。从大众文化的视角,以该系列小说为中心,对美国中产阶级文化进行分析研究,可以很好地阐释与反思文化现代性在美国中产阶级文化变迁中的影响及困境。In the second half of the 20 th century,cultural modernity in the mass culture of American middle class underwent three periods-the avant-garde Civil Right Movements,consumerist kitsch culture and neo-conservatism.＂Rabbit＂series,John Updike＇s masterpiece,are regarded as the classic literary image of American society and culture at the time.From the perspective of mass culture,a study centering round the cultural presentation in the series is a great help in analyzing the influence and straits in the evolution of the cultural modernity in the mass culture of American middle class.
