摘 要:概述了美国钢铁工业的发展历程、生产布局的演化,强调了在这一进程中电炉钢发展的重要性;对2000年以来美国钢铁工业的发展进行了简单分析,表明美国钢铁工业目前处于一个平稳发展阶段;最后总结了1998年前后美国钢铁工业的能源消耗水平,并对当前美国钢铁工业的能耗统计体系(MECS)和内容进行介绍,认为美国在节能工作方面取得了重大进展,但在节能技术方面仍有较大的潜力。The importance of the EAF steel development was stressed after the overview of the development process and the evolution of the production distribution in the U.S. steel industry. And the development of the U.S. steel industry since 2000 was analyzed. It was indicated that the U.S. steel industry had now developed stably. Finally, the energy consumption of the U. S. steel industry in around 1998 was reviewed, and the energy consumption statis- tical system, i.e. MECS, was introduced. It was shown that a big progress of the energy-saving was made by the U.S. steel industry, but there was still a huge potential regarding the energy-saving technologies.
