摘　　要：言据性是新闻报道语篇的一个重要特征,具有重要的语用和评价功能。基于240篇报纸新闻报道语料的调查分析,比较英汉新闻报道在政治新闻、商业新闻、体育新闻和时评社论等不同语域的言据性使用差异,揭示不同语言和不同报道语域对信息来源可靠性认知编码以及命题信息主客观性介入程度的语用功能策略。Evidentiality is an important part of news reporting,and has vital pragmatic and evaluating functions.This paper makes a comparative analysis of pragmatic differences of evidentials in such various registers as political news,business news,sports news and editorials from 240 English and Chinese newspaper reports,and points out the pragmatic and functional strategies of different languages and reporting registers towards the cognitive encoding of the reliability of information sources,as well as subjective and objective degree of engagement in propositional information.
