探究西方传教士在华传播活动的文化侵略本质——基于郭士立及《东西洋考每月统记传》的个案研究

摘　　要：对于西方传教士来华传播活动,当下一些研究倾向强调其促进"西学东渐"、推动中国现代化的积极作用。以普鲁士传教士郭士立及其在华创办中文报刊《东西洋考每月统记传》为个案,对郭士立在华传播活动及创刊内容进行分析,置于历史背景中考量传教士传播新知背后的动机,重申传教士报刊的文化侵略本质。Regarding the communication activities of western missionaries in China,a large number of researches tend to stress the positive role they had in enhancing cultural exchanges between East and West,and in driving China’s modernization.This research carries out an analysis of the communication activities of Karl Friedrich August Gutzlaff and the content of his Eastern Western Monthly Magazine,so as to reveal the purpose of western missionaries in spreading knowledge within the historical background,emphasizing the cultural aggression of newspapers and periodicals founded by western missionaries.
