广东茂名8000名农村妇女获赠“两癌”健康保险

摘　　要：Maoming （a city in South China＇s Guangdong Province） Women＇s Federation and the Maoming branch of China Life Insurance Company Limited recently provided 20,000 yuan （US $2,985） in health insurance to nearly 8,000 rural single mothers, so the women could use the money to receive screening for cervical and/or breast cancer. The women, who suffer from either or both of the ＂two cancers,＂ can also use the money to cover part of their treatment costs.
