摘　　要：阅读理解是英语专业四级和八级考试的重要组成部分。利用语料库语言学相关检索软件,从词汇和句法两个层面对专四和专八阅读语篇难度进行对比研究,分析具体差异,并据此提出相关教学建议:教师应根据学生不同的学习阶段,对词汇、句法以及语篇等教学重点和教学策略进行调整,进而提高英语专业学生的相关技巧与阅读能力。此外,也为未来英语专业等级测试提供新的研究角度。Reading comprehension is one of the most important components of TEM. With the help of corpus technique, this paper attempts to analyze the language difficulty of discourse in reading comprehension of TEM 4 and TEM 8 from both lexical and syntactical levels. The results suggest that teachers should change their teaching approaches and strategies in accordance with different students so as to students. This paper further shows a brand new approach of examining tests. improve the reading ability of English major language difficulty of reading comprehension
