摘　　要：自《儒林外史》问世以来,对它的研究即成为中国古代小说研究的热点之一。在近代,学者对《儒林外史》的研究取得了一定的成果,为后来的研究奠定了扎实的基础。文章从作家生平、作品人物及事件、作品思想主旨、教化作用、艺术特色以及对待科考态度等方面对近代《儒林外史》的研究成果加以梳理、评述,为《儒林外史》的进一步研究提供一些有价值的参考。Since the generation of The Scholars, the research on it has became one of the hottest topics in the study of Chineseancient novels. In modern times, the researchers have obtained certain achievements on the study of The Scholars, which laid a solidfoundation for the later research. This thesis analyzes and reviews the research achievements of The Scholars in the modern times fromthe respect of the writer＇s life, the characters and events of the works, and it＇s main idea and the enlightenment, as well as the artisticcharacteristics and the attitude toward the Imperial Examination. The goal of this paper is to provided some valuable references for thefurther research on The Scholars.摇 摇
