摘　　要：I332／I422，the intensity ratio of powder diffraction,is highly sensitive to variations in garnet compositon and can be taken as an identification criterion for pyrope:I332/I422-1 for pyrope while it is much smaller than unit for other members of the garnet group.I_(332)/I_(422),the intensity ratio of powder diffraction,is highly sensitive to variations in garnet com- position and can be taken as an identification criterion for pyrope:I_(332)/I_(422)～1 for pyrope while it is much smaller than unit for other members of the garnet group.
