摘 要:以"需求分析"理论为指导,以上海外国语大学国际关系学院一年级学生为研究对象,文章通过网络问卷调研两个班总共34个学生对基础英语课程的学习需求,并对问卷结果进行描述统计分析,结果发现:1.学生喜欢在课堂中讲翻译练习和词汇学知识,课下补充语法练习。2.教师按时发送讲课内容的课件和单词补充练习对大家学习有帮助。3.大部分学生认为词汇在生活中的应用不广。此外,他们多认为自己课下付出的时间不足。文章是对英语高水平大一学生英语学习需求的管窥研究,能为英语教学提供有价值的个案参考。This study is based on Needs Analysis. 34 first year students in School of International Relations and Public Affairs in SISU are investigated for their needs in integrated English course. After web questionnaire stage, data analysis leads to the research findings: 1. Students like to know more about translation and lexicology in class and supplementary grammar excercises as homework. 2. Powerpoint of this course and designed vocabulary exercises are found helpful 3. Most students think course book vocabularies are not frequently used in daily life. What's more, they admit that self-study time are not totally devoted to English learning. This article is a case study of high-achieving first year learners' needs and provides valuable insights of English teaching.
