摘　　要：《霍乱时期的爱情》是加西尔·马尔克斯除《百年孤独》外另一部深受读者喜爱的小说,学界大多对其从爱情主题进行解读与分析,并逐渐形成了一种主流认识。文章通过后殖民视阈下的庶民理论与权力理论对作品进行重新解读,试图说明女主人公费尔明娜与男主人公阿里萨的爱情是一部权力宰制下的爱情悲剧。Love in the time of Cholera is another popular novel of Gabriel Garcia marquez besides One Hundred Years of Solitude. Most scholars have read the novel from the theme of love and came into a mainstream understanding in the academia. This paper aims to reinterpret the novel with the subaltern and power theory from the postcolonial perspective,hoping to verify the love tragedy between the hero Ariza and the heroine Fermina is caused by the rule of power.
