摘  要:道安既不以中国既有的思想去桎梏佛学,也不原封不动地照抄印度佛教,而是在不违背佛教义理的情况下,用中国的传统文化去诠释佛学,使佛学融入中国传统文化之中。道安统一"释"姓,改变服饰,使僧人生活中国化;建寺修塔,创规立制,规范僧人修行的中国化;组建译场,创建译论,注经作序,使佛教义理中国化;创宗立派,依玄解佛,使佛教信仰中国化;首倡爱国爱教、佛法不离世间,创政教关系的中国化。正是由于道安奠定了佛教中国化、本土化的根基,才有了后来佛教在华夏大地的大发展,故被誉为"佛教中国化第一人"。Daoan neither shackles Buddhism with the existing Chinese thought nor copies the Indian Buddhism exactly. He interprets Buddhism with traditional Chinese culture without violating the tenets of Buddhism so that Buddhism can be integrated into traditional Chinese culture. He unifies the surname of “shi” and changes the clothes of the monks to sinicize their life; He builds temples and pagodas, establishes rules and regulations to sinicize the monks’ practice; He arranges places of translation, creates translation theories, interprets scriptures and writes prefaces to sinicize the tenets of Buddhism; He creates schools of Buddhism and interprets Buddhism based on the profound theory to sinicize the belief of Buddhism; He advocates the ideas of patriotism and love for religion for the first time and thinks that the Buddhist doctrine should guide people to sinicize the relationship between politics and religion. It is because Daoan lays the foundation for the sinilization and localization of Buddhism that it has developed greatly in China, and for this reason he is praised as the “the first man who sinicizes Buddhism”.
