摘　　要：1979-2009年的中国城市实践正在塑造一个新城的概念。文章以资本城市化为主线，从土地制度、金融资本与银行、国家政策体系等多重角度，对转型环境下中国新城现象形成和发展的基本规律展开理论与实证探讨，内容涵盖中国新城的发展历程、中国新城建设的理论解释框架、中国新城现象的实证性诠释及对中国新城的实践与理论展望。From 1979 to 2009, China＇s urban praxis has been nurturing a new concept, i.e., ＂China＇s new town＂ While the urbanization of capital is the main theoretical thread, this paper inves- tigates the basic laws inherent in the e- mergence and development of China＇s new town under a transitional context. From multiple perspectives of land insti- tutions, financial capital and banks, and national policy systems, the discussion covers ： an historical retrospect of China＇s new town, a theoretical framework to explain and some empirical approaches to interpreting the phenomena, and relevant practical as well as theoretical prospects.
