摘　　要：1833年7月25日创刊于广州的《东西洋考每月统记传》在近现代天文与世界地理知识传播方面做出重要贡献,特别是其从全球视角对《大清一统天下全图》《俄罗斯通天下全图》的解释,以及从宇宙视角对日心说、天体运动、恒星图的解释,为魏源等先贤睁眼看世界提供了最早的期刊文献。Founded on July 25,1833 in Guangzhou,Eastern Western Monthly Magazine makes significant contributions to the communication of modern astronomy and world geography,especially its explanation of Map of Qing Dynasty and Map of Russia from a global perspective. Moreover,its analyses of Heliocentric Theory,celestial movements and star charts from a cosmic angle also provide the world's earliest literature for talents like Yuan Wei,who is the first Chinese to fix his eyes on the modern western world.
