摘　　要：良好的课堂管理能力是英语教学顺利开展的重要保证。大学第一学期的英语课堂管理水平在很大程度上影响到该学期和后续学期的英语教学。应当从课堂物质环境的安排、课堂管理规则和教学环节中的管理这三个方面来提高高职高专非英语专业大一第一学期英语课堂管理水平。Effective classroom management ensures the success of English teaching. The level of the classroom management related to English teaching in the first semester at colleges has a great impact on the English teaching in the semester and the semesters thereafter. It is necessary to im- prove the existing levels of the classroom management in the English teaching for non-English major freshmen from the following three aspects： physical arrangement of the classroom, classroom rules and management of teaching pro- cess.
