英语现在完成时“波及性”语义的认知语用分析

摘　　要：英语现在完成时所具有的"波及性"语义受到语法学界的广泛关注。文章从认知语用的角度出发,探讨英语现在完成时"波及性"语义的语用推理过程,发现该用法是一种述谓性转喻:通过述说一个先在事件,意在表达该先在事件会对现在状况造成的波及性影响;在特定语境下,它也可能是一种施为性转喻或以言成事转喻。Linguists have been attaching great importance to the affecting effect of present perfect in English. From a cognitive pragmatic perspective,this study probes into this phenomenon and discusses its pragmatic inference. It is found that this phenomenon is essentially a predicational metonymy,which,by the utterance of a prior event,pragmatically implies a posterior event affected by the prior event. The affecting effect can be interpreted as illocutionary or perlocutionary metonymy.
