摘　　要：图书馆哲学的贫困在于未能立足于现实的图书馆实践,对图书馆存在的诸多普遍性问题没能提供世界观和方法论的有力指导。在新的信息环境下,图书馆改革与转型,开放知识服务的创新与提高已迫切需要现代哲学理论的指引。基于实践唯物主义的图书馆哲学理论建构既是中国特色图书馆学形成的基础,也是中国图书馆学走向世界最合适的途径。The poverty of library philosophy lies in the fact that it cant be based on the actual library practice, and also cant provide a powerful guidance of the world outlook and methodology to the many universal problems existing in the library. Under the new infor- mation environment, library reform and transformation, the innovation and improvement of open knowledge service urgently require the guidance of modem philosophy theory. The construction of library philosophy theory based on practical materialism is not only the basis for the formation of Library Science with Chinese characteristics, but also the most appropriate way for Chinese Library Science to enter the world. 40 refs.
