摘　　要：中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒(MERS-CoV)在人群中传播已经有五年之久,目前依旧活跃在中东国家和地区,病死率高达35%。尽管全球的科学家都致力于中东呼吸综合征的相关研究,但该疾病与公共健康相关的一些关键因素如病毒的传播模式和传染途径等,人类还知之甚少。流行病学统计表明,除了呼吸道传播,食用未烹饪熟的骆驼肉和骆驼奶也能导致患病;韩国中东呼吸综合征(MERS)大爆发期间,共用医疗环境也能导致患病。这提示人们MERS可能存在不为人知的传播新途径。2017年11月,香港大学袁国勇教授课题组联合军事医学科学院周玉森教授课题组,基于大量实验证明,粪-口途径是MERS传播的新途径。这为MERS的预防及治疗的策略的制订。Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus(MERS-CoV) prevalence has been in population for about 5 years,and been running in some countries and areas in the Middle East areas. The fatality rate caused by this infection can be as high as 35%. Although scientists throughout the world are working hard at the research of this syndrome,yet some important associations of this infection with the public health,including the mode of virus transmission and infection route,remain poorly understood. Epidemiological studies demonstrated that intake of the undercooked camel meat or un-boiled camel milk can cause the infection except for human respiratory infections.A report on the outbreak of MERS-CoV in Korea showed that the infection once occurred common healthcare settings. These findings suggest that MERS-CoV may be transmitted in insidious route. The cooperative study group led by Prof. Yuan Guoyong from the University of Hong Kong and Prof. Zhou Yusun with the Academy of Military Medical Science of China reported in November 2017 that facal-oral transmission can be a new route for MERS-CoV infection,just based on the armed body of statistical evidences. This finding may contribute to plan the control and prevention strategies for MERS-CoV as well as intervention of this infection.
