西瓜新品种“新优64号”的选育

摘　　要："新优64号"是以117-X为母本,160-X为父本杂交选育的中大果型西瓜新品种。该品种生育期83~87d,生长势中等,平均坐瓜节位在主蔓15~17节,果实椭圆形,果皮绿覆墨绿色条带,皮厚0.9~1.2cm,肉色红,质地细脆多汁,风味佳,中心可溶性固形物含量11.5%~12.5%,每667m^2产量5t以上。不裂瓜,耐贮运,适宜新疆地区露地和小拱棚栽培。＇Xinyou 64＇ is a new medium-large watermelon cultivar which is selected from the crosscombination of 117-X×160-X.The growth period is about 83-87 days.The growth potential is medium,average seat melon section in the main cross section 15-17 or so.Its fruit type is oval.The peal is green in color with greenish black stripes,and the pericarp thickness is about 0.9-1.2 cm.The fruit flesh is red fine sandy and juicy.The soluble solids content is 11.5%-12.5%.667 m^2 yield is over 5 t.It is not crack melons,shipping.It is suitable for small shed and open field cultivate in all parts of Xinjiang.
