摘　　要：悲剧因为对人类苦难的真切反映和对人类精神的净化意义而备受艺术界推崇。经受和见证多种创伤的澳大利亚作家考琳·麦卡洛的小说弥漫着一种挥之不去的悲剧美,这种悲剧美主要通过对人性悖论、命运不公以及死亡的书写得以呈现,对读者的心灵和德性进行着洗礼与提升。Because of the real reaction to human suffering and the purification of the human spirit,tragedy is highly respected by the arts. The work of the Australian writer,Colleen Mc Cullough,who has suffered and witnessed a variety of trauma,is filled with tragedy beauty,which is manifested primarily through human nature paradoxes,destiny unfairness and death ways. The reader's mind and virtue has experienced baptism and been promoted by the tragedy death.
