近代工业的技术效率及影响因素——基于上海调查的实证研究

摘　　要：利用20世纪30年代的调查数据,结合随机前沿分析方法,测算了上海民族工业的技术效率。研究发现,近代上海民族工业的技术效率值普遍偏低,离生产可能性边界还有较大距离。各工业部门之间的技术效率值也呈现出显著差异。运用前沿生产函数和外部变量的联合估计方法对技术效率的影响因素进行甄别,发现资本密集度对技术效率有显著负向影响,工人工资与行业内竞争程度对技术效率有显著正向影响。Based on the survey data in 1930s, this paper calculates the technical efficiency of the national industry in Shang- hai by stochastic frontier analysis method. Results shows that the technical efficiency of the national industry in Shanghai is generally low, and there is a large distance from the production possibility frontier. The value of technical efficiency among the industrial sectors also shows significant differences. Using the estimation method of the frontier production function and external variables to screen the influence factors of technical efficiency, it is found that the capital intensity has a significant- ly negative impact on technical efficiency, while the wages of the workers and the degree of competition in the industry have a significantly positive effect on technical efficiency.
