摘　　要：选取中英工业城市相似区位的两处历史文化街区——佛山品字街和伯明翰Colmore Row and Environs,运用康泽恩形态分析方法对街区形态演进进行研究,从更新周期、更新模式与更新管制体系上进行比拟性探索,意图基于空间形态保护的目的,为处于更新瓶颈的佛山品字街提供有益建议。Two historical and cultural blocks, Pinzijie in Foshan and Colmore Row and Environs in Birmingham, are selected for similar locations in the industrial city of China and Britain. The research uses the morphology analysis method of Conzen to study the evolution of neighborhoods. The comparative exploration is intended to provide useful suggestions for Pinzijie in Foshan in the update bottleneck for the purpose of space shape protection.
