摘 要:任何语言的句子结构都无法穷尽,而句子中短语结构的组合规则却可以穷尽。在句子的各类短语中,名词短语所占的比例最高,承载的信息量也最多。名词短语的数量无法穷尽,但其组合规则却是有限的,尤其是句法结构甚为严谨的法语,可以枚举名词短语的各种子结构。我们对可能出现在法语名词短语中的所有词类进行了详细的分类,分析各类词的组合能力、词序等问题,总结出法语名词短语的所有子结构规则,并将其应用于法语最长名词短语的抽取实践中。对法语名词短语子结构的研究不仅可以更深入地分析和了解法语句法构成,还可以对很多自然语言处理的研究起到现实的理论指导作用。Sentence structures of any language are unlimited while the combination rules of phrases are likely to be enumerated. Among all types of phrases, noun phrases take up a larger part and carry more information than other types. Though the number of noun phrases is still infinite, they are structurcd according to finite rules. It is also true of ~he French language, one of the most rigorous in the world. By a thorough classification of all possible word classes in French noun phrases and a detailed analysis of their word order as well as combinatory abilities, we have listed the minimal sub-structures of French noun phrases by partitioning each noun phrase into sequential two- word components. The partitioning approach has not only complemented lbe theoretical studies on structures of French noun phrases, but also proven its practical efficiency in the automatic extraction ol French maximal noun phrase in the field of natural language processing.
