摘　　要：《中华人民共和国公共图书馆法》是我国图书馆领域法制化成果的集中体现,其亮点表现在保障社会公众的基本文化权利、强化政府发展公共图书馆的责任、体现图书馆职业的专业性、顺应数字时代发展需要、关注特殊用户群体需求等方面。该法通过后,需要进一步制定配套实施规则,并需要实现与相关法规的协调。为了推动法律的有效实施,公共图书馆界应严格遵守法律的规定;还需借助全社会力量,推动政府履行职责,为图书馆争取更好的发展环境。The Public Library Law of the People＇s Republic of China is the concentrated reflection of legislation achievements in the field of library in China, with highlights in ensuring the basic cultural rights of the public, strengthening the government responsibility in developing the public library, embodying the specialty of library profession, meeting the needs of digital era development, and focusing on the demands of special user groups, and so on. It is necessary to formulate supporting implementation rules to coordinate with relevant laws and regulations. In order to promote the effective implementation of the law, the public libraries should strictly abide by the provisions of the law. In addition, the whole social forces should be used to promote the government to perform its duties and strive for a better developing environment for Ubrarianship.
