摘　　要：植物印染是我国一项传承千年而不衰的制作工艺,随着近代现代技术工艺的突飞猛进,植物印染逐渐让位于化工印染。但是近年来,由于工业印染中排出废水、废物、废渣造成了严重的环境污染,人们又开始重新重视植物印染这一古老的制作工艺。随着植物印染在现代服饰设计中的应用力度不断加大,我们积极探讨植物印染在现代服饰设计中的应用优势、基本原则与方法等,让古老的植物印染技术重新发扬光大,发挥其应有的价值,对于传统制作工艺的传承,具有重要的现实意义和作用。Plant dyeing is a craftsmanship that has been passing on for over one thousand years in China. However,with the rapid development of modern technologies and techniques,plant dyeing has been gradually replaced by chemical dyeing. In the recent years,people began to refocus on the ancient craftsmanship of plant dyeing because of the severe environmental pollution caused by the waste water,garbage and residues of industrial dyeing. In view of more and more applications of plant dyeing in modern costume design,people begin to actively explore the advantages,fundamental principles and techniques of plant dyeing so as to make this ancient plant dyeing technique be carried forward to a higher level and make its value be fully applied,which would be of realistic significance for the inheritance of this traditional craftsmanship.
