摘　　要：以基因同异创化论新文化观观照新文化运动,认为这一运动是中华民族在不同的历史、文化因素的合力作用下的生存战略选择,并不只是新文化激进派的观念运动。这场运动既有得也有失,是整个民族作为基因群体在新的世界历史语境中的生存适应能力的表现。正视这样一种适应能力的根源与局限,进行深入的反思,冷静理性地探索一个世纪以后变化更剧烈的文化、历史语境中的民族生存新战略,并提出新战略的基本方向。The present essay, by taking the new cultural concept of the gene-identical-discrepant Evolutionism to observe the New Culture Movement, holds that the movement is the Chinese nation’s choice of the survival strategy under the conjoint power of various historical and cultural factors and that it is not only the concept movement of the new culture radicals. The movement is both gainful and losing. It is the performance of adaptability and existence of the whole nation as a genetic group in the new historical context. We must face up to the roots and limitations of such an adaptability, carry on deep reflection and make sober and rational explorations of the new strategy for national survival at a time of drastic changes in the cultural and historical context a century after this movement. The basic direction of the new strategy is put forward briefly in the essay.
