摘　　要：《长日入夜行》是美国著名剧作家尤金·奥尼尔的血泪之作,也是奥尼尔颇具自传色彩的戏剧作品。杰米作为剧中的主要人物之一,表面上玩世不恭嗜酒如命,实际上性格充满矛盾,身上带有一种浓烈的悲剧色彩。从弗洛伊德人格结构理论中本我、自我与超我的角度来看,正是杰米在处理与剧中另外三个人物之间的情感关系时本我与超我之间发生矛盾无法平衡使得他的自我极不稳定,才最终导致他的悲剧人生。Eugene O'neill is a famous American playwright whose masterpiece entitled Long Day's Journey into Night is characterized by autobiography sense. Jamie,one of the protagonists in this play,is seemingly cynical and boozy,whose contradictory personality are difficult to understand. Moreover,Jamie is the most tragic character.From the perspectives of id,ego and superego in Freud psychoanalysis,it is the imbalance of his id and superego that makes his ego unstable,which finally leads to his tragedy when he manages the relationship with the other three characters in the play.
