摘　　要：《女勇士》是美国华裔女作家汤婷婷的成名作和代表作。作为早期中国移民的后代,汤婷婷是生活在两种文化边缘地带的特殊群体的一员。民族和文化的双重性虽然给她的生活带来了诸多困扰,但也为其反观两种文化提供了一个独特视角。在《女勇士》中,汤婷婷对中国古老的传说和历史进行改写,并用异域文化对其进行重新构建,将中国民间家喻户晓的女英雄花木兰的形象通过跨文化方式进行变体,从而创造出一个有别于传统花木兰形象的当代女性形象。《女勇士》是中国文化在美国文学中重新塑造的一个成功典范,对未来的跨文化创作有重要启发意义。The Woman Warrior is the famous and representative works by Tang Tingting,a Chinese American female writer. As an early Chinese descendant of immigrants,Tang Tingting is a member of special group who lives in the edge zone of two cultures. The duality of cultures brought a lot of trouble for her life,but the two cultures also provide a unique perspective for her. In The Woman Warrior,Tang Tingting has rewritten the ancient Chinese legends and history,reconstructed the exotic culture,and transplanted and deformed Mulan,the Chinese folk heroine known to every family across culture,thus created a contemporary female image which is entirely different from the traditional image of Mulan. The Woman Warrior can be said to be a successful example of Chinese culture recreated in the European and American literature,which is of great significance for the future cross-cultural creation.
