Objective: With the help of information system, we researched design method of follow-up module and implement way, made the follow-up and management normative and the follow-up work more effective and specifications. Methods: Through access to the literature, we analysed the traditional methods and the current situation to present an opinion of follow-up work. Results: The construction of information system changed the pattern of manual recording, which makes it easy for patients to retrieve information and promote the orderly development of follow-up work. The implant follow-up rate rose from 1.45% in 2014 to 72.34% in 2016, the return rate and complication rate of the key implants were decreased. Conclusion: The construction of implant follow-up information system changed the passive job situation, which make the workflow simplify and follow-up work efficient and accurate. Through the information system, we can make follow-up plans based on the patient's specific situation. This is not only good for patient safety, but also for improving work efficiency and utilization of information resources. It increased follow-up personnel's work efficiency, the quality of follow-up and the use of information resources. It promotes the development of clinical research and medical care.
