摘　　要：刘春霖生于1872年,去世于1942年,并非1944年。刘春霖幼年家境贫寒,1902年才考取举人,并在1904年殿试中一举夺魁,成为中国历史上最后一名状元。刘春霖在1905—1907年间留学日本,与贵州刘春霖并非一人。Liu Chunlin was born in 1872 and died in 1942, not in 1944 as usually considered. As born in a poor family,he passed the examination and won the title "Juren" in 1902. Liu became the Number One scholar in the imperial examination in 1904 and became the last"zhuangyuan"in Chinese history. Liu Chunlin studied in Japan from 1905 to1907. He is not the same Liu Chunlin as the one born in Guizhou province.
