摘　　要：通过梳理美国纽约市这座全美第一大城市二十年来主要的智能城市建设成就、典型举措、主要特点,从政府主体角度,对纽约市政府在支持城市智能化发展中所采取的措施进行解读,提炼出政府在角色定位、职责履行等方面的特点和可取之处,为我国地方政府发展智慧城市提供经验和借鉴。Based on the official report, the significant progresses, typical actions and main features of New York＇s roadmap to a ＂smart and equitable＂ one are discussed in this passage. Through the butches of policies and actions proclahned by the administrations ofNYC, a role for guiding, negotiating and supporting they set for themselves can be worked out clearly. These points can be taken by the hundreds of local governments in China as a guidance on the planning of a smart city,
