摘　　要：老化除了让人的身体逐渐失去活力,失去身体自主性之外,还增加了慢性病可能性。当衣、食、住、行等失去掌控时,失能者的生命尊严受到严重的挑战,成为需要高度支持以维持现实生活能力的倚赖者。而在其需求得到满足的过程中,照顾者更成了衍生的倚赖者。本文通过研究失能者生命末期尊严案例,探讨如何辅以安宁照顾的理念,从平等、关怀的视角来协助失能者,实质关怀失能者的生命内涵。Degeneration leads to gradual bodily deactivating,losing bodily autonomy and long-term diseases.When one’s daily activities are out of control,one’s dignity will face serious challenge and become a dependent who needs intensive support to keep living practicable.In meeting a dependent’s need,the care helper becomes a derivative dependent.It needs be taken care of.In this paper,we investigate how we could employ the ideas of hospice caring,equality,to help terminal patients to understand the sufferings of the past,present and the future,so as to make peace with his/her body and mind;and,how to lead the patient and related people to understand the meaning of getting old,sick,sufferings and death as his or her philosophy of life as well as the true meaning of life in order to substantiate the caring of the dependent’s life.
