摘　　要：墨白对文学有着独到的理解,对自己的创作也有着理论上的自觉。他以精英的姿态对国民性进行了尖锐的批判,同时又注入了对被批判者的深厚同情,在道义和情感上坚持民间立场;他接受了后现代主义的历史观和现实观,却依然像现代主义者那样执着于揭示存在的真实;他和20世纪80年代的先锋文学一样热衷于形式探索,但从未像后者那样放弃深度和意义。对于墨白这样一个不趋附任何潮流和话题的文学家,我们应该致以敬意,更应该给予足够的重视。Mo Bai has a unique understanding of literature,and has a theoretical consciousness of his own creation. He criticizes the national character with the attitude of elite,and at the same time injects deep sympathy for those who are criticized. He insists on the folk standpoint in morality and emotion. Mo Bai accepts the postmodernist view of history and reality,but he is dedicated to revealing the reality of being as well as the modernists. Just as Pioneer Literature of the 1980 s,Mo Bai is keen on form exploration,but he never gives up depth and meaning. To such a writer who never follows any tide and topic,we should pay tribute and sufficient attention to.
