摘　　要：抗战时期,应慈法师以救国救教相统一的理念,结合宗教的普世精神,积极开展带有宗教特色的抗日救亡运动。战乱时期的应慈法师潜心佛学研究,奔波筹建华严学院,组织编印会,整理出版佛学著作,促进佛学研究。应慈法师在潜心研究佛学的同时,坚持弘法讲经,足迹遍布江苏、浙江、安徽等省,法缘殊胜,四众受益,充分展现了他的爱国爱教精神。Master Yingci is a religious pioneer in saving the country from aggression,promoting Buddhist universal values.He spared no effort in devoting himself to patriotism and Buddhism in AntiJapanese War,indulging himself in the study of Buddhist scriptures,funding the construction of Huayan Academy,publishing Buddhist works,promoting the development of Buddhism in China.He popularized Buddhist principles and patriotism around China,traveling to Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and other provinces,greeted by pious disciples and believers.
