摘　　要：美国现代著名女作家凯瑟琳·安·波特的短篇小说《被遗弃的韦瑟罗尔奶奶》是一部意识流杰作。小说对韦瑟罗尔奶奶临终前的思想活动进行了悲剧叙述,书写了波特对南方的复杂情感。通过南方庄园的再现、南方淑女的嬗变和"被遗弃"的爱情三个层面,这部小说展示了波特的南方情结。The short story of The Jilting of Granny Weatherall is a masterpiece of consciousness by famous modern American female writer Katherine Anne Porter.It presents a tragic narrative of an eightyyear-old granny's last day.This paper is intended to explore Porter's southern complex from three aspects:southern plantation's duplication,southern lady's evolution and the jilted love.It has also explored her personal experiences and writing techniques to further the understanding.
