摘　　要：上海图书馆收藏的8册《地震稿》,是1909年出版的法文版《中国重大地震目录》第一卷的中文底稿,是其作者黄伯禄(1830—1909)的中文手稿。它无可置疑地表明:中国近代地震科学研究始于清朝光绪末年(1906—1908年)。Eight volumes, list of earthquakes, collected in Shanghai library were Chinese version of the volume I of the list of China's major earthquakes in French published in 1909. List of earthquakes,original manuscript of Huang Bolu, undoubtedly shows that modern earthquake science research in China began in the late years of the end of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing dynasty(1906—1908).
