摘　　要：西红花苷来源于传统中药栀子和名贵药材西红花,是天然界存在的唯一水溶性类胡萝卜素,主要包括西红花苷-1、西红花苷-2、西红花苷-3、西红花苷-4和顺式西红花苷-1。多年来的研究显示,这类成分具有显著的抗心血管疾病药理活性。综合近10年来相关文献报道,从降血脂、抗动脉粥样硬化、降血压与心脏保护、心肌缺血再灌注损伤、心肌缺血、抗血小板聚集及心肌肥厚等方面对西红花苷保护心血管疾病进行概述并汇总相关文献,为西红花苷的药理学研究及开发利用提供参考依据。Crocins are mainly derived from traditional Chinese medicine gardenia and expensive medicinal remedy saffron. In addition, these components are the only water - soluble carotenoids from natural resources, and mainly in- clude croein - 1, crocin - 2, erocin - 3, croein - 4 and cis - crocin - 1. Researches have shown for years that it possess good clinical effect in preventing cardiovascular disease. This paper reviewed the protective effect of crocins on cardiovas- cular disease and summarized the relevant literatures from the aspects of hypolipidemic, anti - atherosclerosis, antihyper- tensive, myocardial isehemia- reperfusion injury, cardioprotection, anti -platelet aggregation and cardiac hypertrophy and so on. Current review would facilitate pharmacological research, development and utilization of crocins.
