摘　　要：新加坡华文书屋是其华语文化的风向标,从上世纪初开始至今,大致经历了兴盛、衰落、转型的几个阶段。这背后,反映了新加坡政府与草根间的文化权力争夺,亦体现了时代对新加坡华人社会文化的考验与筛选。Chinese bookstores are cultural benchmark in Singapore. From the beginning of the last century, they have experienced several stages from prosperity to decline and transformation. This not only reflects the cul- tural power struggle between the government and the grassroots in Singapore, but also reflects Chinese culture in Singapore experiencing social test and selection.
