摘　　要：莫高窟采石场遗址是世界文化遗产——敦煌莫高窟的重要组成部分,它对全面认识和了解敦煌石窟的营建史有着重要的补充作用。此前尚未对此遗址做过全面的调查工作。通过调查,初步获得采了石场遗址的基本情况和一些新的研究资料。这些资料对敦煌石窟营建史的研究有着重要的参考价值,对进一步做好遗址的保护工作具有现实意义。The quarry site at the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang is an important part of this world cultural heritage site, the archaeological study of which is absolutely necessary to comprehensively understanding the construction history of Dunhuang caves. The authors of this paper have conducted the first comprehensive investigation of the Mogao quarry, presenting here the basic situation and status of the site as well as new research information which is useful both as important reference material for studying the construction history of Dunhuang caves and as practical data for preserving the site.
